Nursery & Children Church Rooms
The Beltway family has
truly been blessed thru the donation of a Paging System and TV Monitors
to support our children worship service. With the installment of
monitors, parents with infants can enjoy the worship service in our
nursery. Toddlers may participate in the worship, in their own setting,
at Children Church. They join in worship by singing, giving, and
reading Bible stories. While the toddlers are enjoying Children Church
the parents can be worry free. The parents are given a silent page if
they are needed, while their child attends Children Church. Come join
us in the Mamie Hart Dawkins nursery where children learn more about our
Lord Jesus Christ.
The Bob & Betty Dix Computer Learning Center
Multipurpose Fellowship Room
Our Multi-Purpose Room has
hosted many of memorable events. The space is large enough to
facilitate full court basketball, volleyball, and ping- pong. We have
enjoyed banquets, game nights, youth rallies, cheerleading practice, a
Caribbean conference, wedding receptions, and numerous fellowship
dinners, just to name a few events. The room is interchangeable to
afford us having Bible classes and special events when necessary. This
room truly lives up to its designation of the Multi-Purpose Room
Health Ministry Office
Our Health Ministry Office
enhances the Beltway Family and reaches out to the community. Staffed
by dedicated and certified medical personal, which also are members of
the congregation, provide educational classes and seminars, medical
advice and reach out to the sick and shut in. On the first (1st)
and third (3rd) Sundays of each month, they administer blood
pressure screening to the members. We are truly grateful to the workers
in The Health Ministry Office.
Audio-Video Recording Room
Our
audio-visual Room affords us the capability of reproducing Worship
Services, plays, concerts, or any event. We utilize a wireless remote
sender/receiver that allows the signal to be display on our monitors,
regardless as to where the camera is operated. The wireless system also
allows us to show appropriate DVDs, VHS, and regular TV, in the Mamie
Hart Dawkins Nursery and Children Church. Additional wiring has been
installed, allowing the availability to connect the system to additional
TVs. The Audio-Video Room serves as a training center for the youth of
our Congregation, who operates the camera during Sunday Morning Worship.
Sounds Production Room
Equipped with a modern Dual
Graphic Equalizer, 24-Channel Analog Mixer, amplifier, dual well
cassette deck, 2 (two) Drive CD recorder/player and a 3 (three) cassette
duplicator we are able reproduce sounds onto 3 different mediums. By
CDs, VHS, and cassette tape. Our Tape Ministry records Worship Service.
We have the capabilities of producing a sound feed from 14(fourteen) XLR
microphones and 2 (two) wireless microphones at the present. The Sound
Production Room is located in the sanctuary.
Kitchen/Pantry
Our kitchen is fully
functional with an oven/range, refrigerator and Freezer. Many of
delicious and home some meals have been prepared there. This is the
same kitchen where our Famous “What’s In It Soup” originated. When we
prepare to feed the Homeless community, the kitchen is used for making
the soup and lunches. Along side the kitchen is our Pantry. Can and
perishable goods are gathered, stored, and maintained by our Children
for the pantry. They pull little red wagons through the auditorium isles
collecting the goods, during Sunday morning Worship.
Senior Citizen Room
Beltway’s seniors are an
energetic group of members sixty (60) year’s and older, involved in many
aspects of the church’s work as well as the community at large. We have
provided the seniors a place to fellowship, organize activities and
mentor the younger members of the congregation. During Funeral Services
the seniors sanctions their room to be used as a waiting area for the
deceased immediate family. Beltway honors our seniors with a luncheon
twice a year.
Bridal Room
The Bridal Room is the
Women’s domain where, “The Bride and her Party makes preparations for
the moment of”… With the glamour of the occasion it is also believed,
the Bridal Room is where they hide professional Fashion Fair
Consultants, Hair Stylists and Florists.
